Cytogenetic study of types anemia patients

Background and Objectives: studying chromosomal changes for anemia patients of children age (3month-12years ) in the city kut diagnosing those abnormalities resulting from having Methods: The chromosomes Patients to were analyzed studied using cytogenetic analysis detect aberrations caused by after collecting blood samples Al-Karama Teaching Hospital as well clinics Kut.Results: Chromosomal all subjects showed aberrations, most structural numerical that (1 out28)of abnormality was gap chromosome type, chromosomal-aberration dicentric (2 out 28) ,chromosomal-aberration deletion (1-28) addition short clumped metaphase patient .As aberrtion –aberration absent (1-28)it due leukemia causative .And classification anemias based on Size red cells Microcytic, Normocytic , Macrocytic commn prevalent preventable form microcytic is iron deficiency Conclusion: Chromosome abnormlity (abnormal number ,structural )it occure ( structural)in our study present metaphase,deletion ,chromsomes ,chromosome dicentric.
